Pakistan and South Korea Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephone conversation with the Republic of Korea's Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul today. During the call, they discussed the escalating regional situation prompted by India's actions, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.

According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul expressed concern over the situation and emphasized the importance of resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy to ensure regional peace and security. Both leaders affirmed their dedication to enhancing multilateral cooperation between their countries.

Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul also acknowledged the successful co-hosting of the third United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial Preparatory Meeting held in Islamabad last month. The leaders agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations through high-level exchanges, underscoring their commitment to fostering closer ties.
