Mainly hot & dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, light rain-wind thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas during evening/night.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad sixteen degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi twenty-eight, Peshawar twenty-one, Quetta eighteen, Gilgit eleven and Murree ten degree centigrade.

According to Met Office weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain-wind and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramulla, Shopian and Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar nine degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-six , Leh four, Pulwama and Shopian eleven, Anantnag and Baramulla ten degree centigrade.

Ambassador of Czech Republic, Tomáš Smetánka has said that Pakistan and Czech Republic are focusing on enhancing trade in multiple sectors like mining industry and agriculture sector.

In an interview, the Ambassador said bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Czechia has reached over three hundred million dollars.

He said Pakistan's exports to the Czech Republic are about four times higher than the Czech exports to Pakistan.

He urged for institutional partnerships between the Czech Republic and Pakistani universities to seek potential, talented, and skilful students in science and technology and higher education for better outcomes.

A week-long anti-polio campaign begins in various districts of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan on Monday.

In Punjab, over two million children under five years age will be vaccinated in twelve districts, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Bhakkar, DG Khan, Layyah, Mianwali, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Sheikhupura.

In Sindh, about seven hundred thousand children will be administered anti-polio drops in Hyderabad and Larkana district.

In Balochistan, over 1.2 million children up to five years of age would be administered anti-polio drops in eighteen districts.

The government has postponed the anti-polio campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till next week.

Ministry of Planning and Development has approved the establishment of National Language Processing Laboratory to implement and promote Urdu as a national language.

According to the details, PC-One of National Language Processing Laboratory has been approved worth of over 78 million rupees.

Ministry of National Heritage and Culture Division is sponsoring agency, while the National Language Promotion Department will ensure the implementation of the project.
