Minister for Information Technology and Telecom Syed Amin-ul-Haque says women play pivotal role in country’s progress.

Addressing a function in Islamabad on Monday, he said the government is taking steps to digitally empower the women of the country as per the vision of the Prime Minister.

He said manufacturing of smart phones in Pakistan is the need of the hour.

In this regard, he said we have initiated a project “Smart phones for all” to cope with the demand of the IT industry.
