World Bank has assured its full support for Pakistan's reforms and digitalization programs to stabilize the economy and enhance revenues. The assurance came during a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and President of World Bank Group Ajay Banga in Washington. The Minister highlighted Pakistan's progress under the nine-month Stand-By Arrangement program and ongoing reforms in priority areas of taxation, energy and privatization. Both side agreed on the rolling of Country Framework Plan for ten years. The World bank President assured his full support for Pakistan's reforms and digitalization programs to stabilize the economy and enhance revenues. The Finance Minister invited the President of World Bank to visit Pakistan. Meanwhile, in a meeting with President of the Asian Development Bank, Masatsugu Asakawa in the US capital, both sides discussed further strengthening bilateral partnership with Asian development Bank, protecting country's envelope of concessional financing and future pr ojects pipeline.
