US Ambassador Donald Blome says his country has keen interest in investing and cooperating in the energy, digital services and agriculture sector of Pakistan.

He said this while talking to Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Ambassador lauded Pakistan's ambitious renewable energy plan and commended Prime Minister and the Government for handling tough economic situation.

He expressed high hopes for the future of Pak-US relation and affirmed to strengthen the relations on broader terms.

Khurram Dastgir invited US companies to take part in solar energy plans of Pakistan. He said the solar policy will be launched next month in line with government's commitment of reducing reliance on imported fuels.
