Un-ethical practices into National Commission for Human Development noticed

Islamabad: Today Minister of Professional and Technical training Mian Riaz Hussein Pirzada Chaired a meeting with D.G And provincial Directors of national commission of human development and took a severe notice against unethical practices into NCHD. Minister was told that some staff members in the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) have adopted un-ethical practices and don’t follow the organizational norms in their work. These people who claim to be part of informal set up like Central Action Committee (CAC) and Provincial Action Committees (PACs) are harassing staff at the Headquarters Office, Provincial Head Offices and District Offices. They are also defying the orders of the management and have resorted to violence and manhandling of their colleagues. They have indulged in harassment of female staff. They have attributed some statements to Federal Minister like constitution of committee to meet the Secretary, Ministry of Professional and Technical Training and other officials in the Ministry.

The Minister has taken all the above very seriously and warn all these elements to stop such activities forthwith. Mr. Riaz Hussain Pirzada immediately directed to D.G NCHD that all sorts of Informal set up should cease their activities and staff should get back to their work and follow the official procedure/rules. Mr. Pirzada said that In case these instructions are not followed, the Ministry will be compelled to take legal action against individuals responsible.

As the Federal Secretary, P&TT is on ex-Pakistan leave; therefore, Federal Minister is personally intervening in this matter of urgent importance. Meanwhile Ministry of Professional and Technical Training will try to get the salaries of staff and teachers released from the Federal Government before Eid-ul-Fitr. Efforts are in hand with the Federal Government to save NCHD, its work and employment of 16000 employees.
