Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony meets

Islamabad, 1st November, 2022: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony discussed the Zaireen Management Policy in detail. The Committee was informed that visit of zaireen to India is governed under a protocol however no such protocol or framework is available for visit of zaireen to Iran, Iraq, Syria and other countries. The Committee recommended that a facilitation desk should be established at the airports to facilitate the zaireens.

2. 18th meeting of the Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony was held today the 1st November 2022, at 2:00 pm in Committee Room of M/o Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony (1st Floor), Kohsar Complex, Pak Secretariat Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Syed Imran Ahmad Shah, MNA.

3. The Committee appreciated the efforts of M/o Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony to made quality Hajj arrangements this year. The Committee asked that the quality food should be provided in the future.

4.The Committee discussed the issues of Sikh Yatries and recommended that the fee of Yatries should be reduced.

5. MNAs, Pir Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jillani, Begum Tahira Bokhari, Ms. Shahnaz Saleem Malik, Mr. Kesoo Mal Kheeal Das, Mr. Naveed Aamir Jeeva, Ms. Shagufta Jumani, Mr. Muhammad Anwar, Ms. Shahida Akhar Ali, Ms. Saira Bano and senior officers/officials from the M/o Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony attended the meeting.
