Sialkot: Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has assured his all-out sincere efforts to resolve the issues faced by the Sialkot business community. He was addressing a meeting with the business community at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sialkot. According to Radio Pakistan, Khawaja Muhammad Asif briefed about the development projects in Sialkot, stating that funds have been received to relocate the Sialkot bus station outside the city, which will address the traffic congestion problems within the city. Khawaja Muhammad Asif also mentioned that the Allama Iqbal Library is undergoing renovations at a cost of 100 million rupees, with plans to transform it into a modern facility. Additionally, he highlighted that the Punjab government has sanctioned 16 billion rupees to the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) for revamping the city's schemes and systems. He announced that the Sialkot-Kharian Motorway is scheduled for completion by 2029, extending up to Rawat.
