Security Forces Successfully Neutralize Five Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Islamabad: Security forces have killed five Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Security forces have killed five Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Radio Pakistan, According to ISPR, on the reported presence of Khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in Tank District. During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged Khwarij location and after intense exchange of fire, four Khwarij, belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were killed.

Another intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan District. In ensuing fire exchange, one Kharji was effectively neutralized.

Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the killed Indian sponsored Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.

The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision "Azm e Istehkam", as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have lauded the security forces for successful operations against Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In their separate statements, they appreciated the professional capabilities of the security forces for killing the terrorists.

In his statement, the President said the operations would continue until the scourge of terrorism is completely eradicated from the country.

He said the successful operations of the security forces against terrorist elements operating under Indian patronage are a reflection of national resolve.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, said the security forces are achieving great successes against terrorism under the vision of "Azm-e-Istehkam". He said the entire nation stands with the Armed Forces of Pakistan in the war against terrorism.

The Prime Minister said the entire nation is united against terrorism, and reaffirmed the government's commitment to eradicating all forms of terrorism from the country.
