Sararogha: On 24 June 2025, Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Sararogha, South Waziristan District, targeting the reported presence of Khwarij associated with the Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij. During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, resulting in eleven Indian-sponsored Khwarij being neutralized, while seven others sustained injuries.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, the intense exchange of fire led to the ultimate sacrifice of Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, aged 37, from District Chakwal, and Lance Naik Jibran Ullah, aged 27, from District Bannu. Major Moiz was leading his troops courageously from the front and was known for his daring actions in numerous operations against the Khwarij.
The security forces are currently conducting a sanitization operation to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij in the area. The Pakistani security forces remain resolute in their mission to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country, with the sacrifices of their brave personnel further strengthening their determination.
