The civic agencies are draining out rain water from different roads and low lying areas.

Punjab government has issued alert in rain affected cities of the province. Water rescue team has been directed to remain alert.

Meanwhile, spokesman of Regional Metrology Centre Lahore said intermittent rain will continue till Friday.

Sindh Local Government Department has issued new instructions in view of the powerful new spell of monsoon rain in various districts of Sindh, including Karachi.

Secretary Sindh Local Government has asked Municipal Commissioners and Administrators of all districts to be present in the field and the Water Board should remain alert with all its manpower and machinery.

Our Peshawar correspondent reports that ten people died and two others injured in rain-related incidents in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during last twenty-four hours.
