Islamabad: Punjab Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department has announced the Cinemato Competition 2026 to promote interfaith harmony, cultural diversity, and highlight the contributions of minority communities. Filmmakers, content creators, and the public are invited to participate by submitting documentaries and short video reels. According to Radio Pakistan, the competition encourages submissions on themes such as 'One Nation, Diverse Identities', 'Unsung Heroes', and 'Stories Passed Through Generations'. Documentaries should be three to five minutes long, while reels should not exceed one minute. Participants stand a chance to win cash prizes of one hundred thousand, seventy-five thousand, and fifty thousand rupees for the first, second, and third positions, respectively. Entries must be submitted by the first of next month.
