Islamabad:The Prime Minister's Fuel Relief Scheme is reportedly advancing effectively across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, who chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review the scheme's implementation, emphasized the importance of addressing registration-related issues faced by rickshaw and loader owners promptly. Cheema insisted that eligible owners must not be excluded from the relief initiative.

He urged the Pakistan Digital Authority to incorporate vehicle registration and token payment complaints into a dedicated complaint portal, which should become operational as soon as possible.

During the meeting, Attaullah Tarar highlighted that efforts are underway to inform citizens about the scheme. It was reported that over five million people have registered, with fuel tokens being generated successfully. Additionally, most registration-related issues and problems at petrol stations have been resolved.
