President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the youth to acquire skills keeping in view their aptitude and the emerging job market demands.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of three-day Career Guide Expo 2022 at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad on Friday.

The President said in the age of technology and information explosion, our youth is susceptible to propaganda-based and false information; and therefore, they should be vigilant for credibility and authenticity of any information they get and acquire.

Appreciating the organizers of the expo, Dr. Arif Alvi stressed for organizing similar education expos in other cities of the country so that students from far flung areas have access to job and career counseling at their doorsteps.

The expo that will continue till Sunday is exhibiting over thirty local and international stalls, a book fair, scholarships pavilion, ideas exhibition and a food court and is open for students of all public and private sector educational institutes.
