President has appealed to the nation and international community to generously help the government for speedy relief to the flood-affected people.

During his visit to Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, the president also asked the provincial government to accelerate the process of rehabilitation of flood victims and reconstruction of houses.

He commended the role of armed forces, civilian institutions and welfare organizations for providing relief to the flood hit people.

District administration briefed the President about the flood situation on Mardan bridge and said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has doubled the aid amount for the flood victims.
