President and Prime Minister Commend Naila Kiani for Historic Mountaineering Achievement


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have extended their congratulations to mountaineer Naila Kiani for her remarkable achievement as the first Pakistani woman to summit Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest peak.



According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders released separate statements highlighting their admiration for Naila Kiani’s accomplishment. President Asif Ali Zardari remarked on the significance of women’s progress in the field of mountaineering, expressing that such achievements are a positive step forward.



Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended Kiani for making Pakistan proud on the global stage. He emphasized that the success of Pakistani women in challenging sports such as mountaineering serves as a source of national pride and strength, reflecting the country’s growing prominence in diverse sports fields.
