PM Shehbaz Sharif Arrives at Sa’dabad Palace for Talks with Iranian Leadership


Tehran: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, along with the Pakistani delegation, has arrived at Sa’dabad Palace in Tehran to meet with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian. Upon arrival, the Iranian President warmly welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the delegation. The Prime Minister was presented the ceremonial guard of honour.



According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister.



During the meeting, the Prime Minister will express gratitude to the people and President of Iran for promoting bilateral cooperation, supporting Pakistan in the recent conflict with India, and their efforts for peace in South Asia. The discussions will also include meetings with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to discuss bilateral and regional issues.



The Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation will also attend a dinner hosted in their honor by Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
