PM materializing people’s dream of getting own homes: Farrukh

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib says Prime Minister Imran Khan is materializing people's dream of getting their own homes.

Addressing a function in Faisalabad today (Saturday), he termed "Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar" scheme a revolutionary plan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.

Farrukh Habib said banks have approved loans of the applicants of the low cost housing scheme very quickly.

He said the government has approved loans of fifty-six billion rupees in just fifteen months.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor State Bank Raza Baqir said all stake holders are taking steps in the right direction to translate Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision of home ownership of every family into reality.

Later in twitter message, he said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's statement that they would not allow the OIC meeting to be held in the National Assembly building was manifestation of the fact that for him, personal interest came before the interest of the country.

He questioned which external force Bilawal wanted to please by making such a statement.

He said Foreign ministers of 57 countries are coming to Pakistan which will improve the image of Pakistan in the world.
