Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his appreciation for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his delegation for their diplomatic tour to the United States and Europe, where they addressed India’s recent propaganda against Pakistan. The Prime Minister’s remarks came during a meeting with the Pakistan People’s Party Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari briefed the Prime Minister about the delegation’s meetings in the United States and Europe. In recognition of their efforts, the Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of the Pakistani diplomatic delegation. He praised the delegation for effectively representing Pakistan’s stance on the global stage.
Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the delegation’s national zeal in advocating for Pakistan’s position and returning victorious. He specifically mentioned members such as Sherry Rehman, Dr. Musadik Malik, Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, Senator Faisal Sabzwari, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Jalil Abbas Jilani, and Tehmina Janjua, alongside delegation head Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The delegation’s efforts in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe were acknowledged worldwide.
The Prime Minister commended the delegation for presenting events like the Pahalgam incident and the Indus Waters Treaty accurately. He noted that, thanks to the nation’s prayers and the military prowess of Pakistan’s armed forces, India faced consequences for its war hysteria.
Discussing the Federal Budget for the next fiscal year, Prime Minister Sharif stated that the government aims to provide relief across society, including salaried workers. He thanked coalition partners, including the Pakistan Peoples Party, for their cooperation in budget preparation.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed optimism that with the guidance and cooperation of delegation members, the government will successfully address both internal and external challenges. Notable attendees at the dinner included Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and several other ministers and advisors.
