Pilgrims to Perform Hajj’s Rukn-e-Azam, Waqoof-e-Arafah Today

Arafat: Millions of pilgrims arrived in Maidan-e-Arafat to perform the Rukn-e-Azam of Hajj, Waqoof-e-Arafah. Our Special Correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema reports from Arafat that 73% of Pakistani pilgrims reached from Mina via train while the rest arrived through buses.

According to Radio Pakistan, the guests of Allah will listen to the Hajj Sermon, delivered from Masjid-e-Nimra, in their tents as per the Saudi government’s instructions in wake of extreme weather conditions. It is pertinent to mention that this year’s Sermon will be broadcast in thirty-five languages. It will also be digitally streamed and disseminated through various social media platforms.

The Hujjaj will offer Zuhr and Asr prayers together and stay in Arafat, spending the entire day in praying. After sunset, they will leave for Muzdalifah where they will offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together and spend the night under open sky.
