Islamabad: Pakistan's economy is displaying greater resilience to the recent Hormuz shock compared to the challenges faced during the 2022 oil crisis, as highlighted by Grace Lim, an analyst at Moody's Ratings.
According to Radio Pakistan, Grace Lim noted in an interaction with Pakistan TV that the country's enhanced capacity to absorb shocks is due to the macroeconomic stability achieved over the past two years. Lim pointed out that factors such as lower inflation, a stable exchange rate, and significantly improved foreign exchange reserves are contributing to Pakistan's ability to withstand current regional and global economic disturbances.
