Islamabad: Pakistan Navy has achieved another milestone in Pakistan's maritime history with the first mass production and delivery of environmentally friendly marine fuel from Karachi Port. According to Radio Pakistan, this achievement became possible due to the coordinated efforts of the Prime Minister's Task Force on Maritime Affairs and other key institutions of the Government of Pakistan. This marks a significant step forward in Pakistan's energy production capabilities. With the local production and regular delivery of environmentally friendly very low sulfur marine fuel, Pakistan has also met International Maritime Organization's standards for the first time in the maritime and energy sectors.
