Pakistan and the Maldives have agreed to work closely for further enhancing cooperation in diverse sectors and strengthening bilateral ties. The resolve was expressed during a meeting between Pakistan's High Commissioner to Maldives Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani and Defence Minister of Maldives Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon in Male'.
