Minister for Human Rights Riaz Hussain Pirzada says Pakistan has always stood for the rights of oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir.

In a podcast interview with Radio Pakistan, he said we support the UN charter and want to move along with the international community.

The Minister, however, regretted the double standards that exist on human rights in the world. He said those who dictate others on human rights themselves infringe them.

Riaz Hussain Pirzada said our society has strong traditions and culture in which women enjoy a great respect. He stressed the need for providing conducive environment to the youth so that they can compete in the world.

During the interview, the Minister also gave a detailed account of his life experiences and political struggle.
