Islamabad: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized that Pakistan demonstrated incredible restraint and acted purely in self-defence. In a recent interview with PTV World, Bilawal discussed the nature of Pakistan’s response to ongoing tensions with India.
According to Radio Pakistan, Bilawal highlighted that despite Pakistan’s efforts to maintain restraint, India persisted with its aggressive actions. He stated that these actions included targeting both military installations and civilian populations within Pakistan’s borders.
Bilawal further explained that after exercising patience for three days, Pakistan’s response was proportional, rational, and adhered to international laws. He noted that the response was conducted under the framework of Article 51 of the UN Charter, which permits self-defence in cases of armed attacks.
