Pakistan Condemns Destruction of Gaza’s Health System by Israel at World Health Assembly

Geneva: At the World Health Assembly, Pakistan has strongly condemned the destruction of Gaza's health system and grave violations of international law by Israel. Delivering the National Statement, Pakistan's First Secretary Adeel Khokhar highlighted the deliberate obliteration of hospitals, medical convoys, and healthcare facilities, emphasizing that these actions, alongside targeting medical personnel, constitute severe breaches of international law.

According to Radio Pakistan, beyond the direct targeting of health infrastructure, Israel's actions include the weaponization of starvation, the deliberate denial of clean water, and the blockade of fuel, medicines, and life-saving supplies. These measures have pushed Gaza's health system to the brink of total and irreversible collapse.

Adeel Khokhar reiterated Pakistan's stance, stating that the country will continue to support the Palestinian people's just struggle for their right to self-determination. Pakistan advocates for the establishment of a sovereign, independent, and contiguous state of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds as its capital.
