Geneva: Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to expanding cooperation with Saudi Arabia across various sectors. This commitment was expressed during his meeting with the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the 114th International Labour Conference in Geneva.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two ministers focused on mutual interests such as labour mobility, workforce development, and enhancing bilateral cooperation in the human resource sector. Both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration to create more employment opportunities and improve workforce skills, aiming for mutual benefits for both countries.
The 114th International Labour Conference serves as a global platform, gathering representatives from governments, employers, and workers worldwide. The conference aims to address key labour and employment issues and promote a shared agenda for decent work opportunities globally.
