Islamabad: Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to continue bilateral cooperation for regional peace, development, and stability. This resolve was expressed during comprehensive consultations between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held in Beijing.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two leaders encompassed several key areas including the evolving situation in South Asia, the future trajectory of the Pakistan-China friendship, and the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Both sides reiterated their support for the all-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the ironclad friendship that exists between the two nations.
The meeting underscored the commonality of views on issues of mutual interest, highlighting the importance of their partnership in fostering regional stability and development. Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration and emphasized the need to further strengthen ties in the face of regional challenges.
