Pakistan and Bahrain Strengthen Military Relations with Focus on Joint Training

Islamabad: Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Force, Lieutenant General Thiab Saqer Abdulla Al Nuaimi, met with Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, in Islamabad today. The meeting emphasized bolstering military ties through joint training initiatives and exploring further cooperation between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions centered around mutual interests and potential avenues for enhanced collaboration. Both parties expressed their commitment to ongoing military engagement, highlighting the importance of joint training and collective growth as a unified team. Upon arrival, Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi received a Guard of Honour from a Pakistan Air Force contingent.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu extended a warm welcome to the Bahraini delegation, underscoring the deep-rooted religious and historical connections between Pakistan and Bahrain. He stressed the exemplary military relationship the two countries share, while reiterating his determination to expand bilateral military cooperation, especially in joint training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The Air Chief highlighted Pakistan's strong diplomatic and defense ties with Bahrain, grounded in a shared commitment to regional peace, security, and stability. The Bahraini dignitary praised the professionalism of Pakistan Air Force personnel and acknowledged the strides made in indigenization and technological advancement.

Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi expressed a keen interest in understanding Pakistan Air Force's approach to Multi Domain warfare, aiming to learn from its operational experience. He also showed interest in initiating joint training programs for Bahraini pilots and engineers.

The Bahraini Chief of Staff commended the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park for its role in innovation and building advanced indigenous capabilities. He later visited the National ISR and Integrated Air Operations Centre and PAF Cyber Command, where he was briefed on Pakistan Air Force's operational capabilities.

This meeting signifies the commitment of both Pakistan and Bahrain to reinforce their military partnership, fostering collaboration and promoting robust relations.
