OIC chief denounces latest Boko Haram attack in Nigeria
Jeddah Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen strongly condemned Friday's appalling terrorist attack carried out by Boko Haram extremists in the Nigerian northeastern city of Maiduguri, killing and wounding a number of people.
Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC's support for the leadership and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in their determination to annihilate Boko Haram terrorist group.
The secretary general conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and people of Nigeria, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded. He also reaffirmed the principled position of the Organization that vigorously denounces all acts of terrorism and violent extremism.
