No one will be allowed to create hurdles in elections: Dost

Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dost Muhammad Khan says no one will be allowed to create hurdles in holding of the general elections in a peaceful and transparent manner.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he said law enforcing agencies will be provided all necessary facilities to maintain law and order during the elections.

Dost Muhammad Khan said peace has been restored in the province due to sacrifices of the security forces and general public and fencing of the border with Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Caretaker Chief Minister has taken notice of reports regarding influencing the election process by police officers at district level.

In a statement in Peshawar, he said stern action will be taken against the police officers and officials found involved in supporting candidates of any political party.
