National economy heading towards sustainable growth: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that record development projects have been initiated in Punjab for the first time in country's history.

Talking to PTI leaders Sardar Asif Nakai and Syed Samsam Bukhari in Lahore today, he said backward areas were neglected in the past and development of these areas is the top priority of the incumbent government.

During the meeting, the overall political situation of the province and on-going development projects in concerned ministries were discussed.

Talking to elected representatives in Lahore today, Prime Minister Imran Khan said the national economy is heading towards sustainable growth.

He said the government inherited weak economy from previous rulers, but framing prudent policies to stabilize it.

The Prime Minister said the women elected representatives are playing vital role in making legislation at national and provincial assemblies.

The elected representatives apprised the Prime Minister about on-going development projects in the province.
