Mainly partly cloudy, cold weather expected in most plain areas of country

Mainly partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain wind thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected in northeast Blochistan, Punjab and Kashmir, while scattered light rain or drizzle with snow over hills in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab in morning.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad six, Lahore eleven degree centigrade, Karachi eighteen, Peshawar nine, Quetta, Gilgit and Murree zero and Muzaffarabad six degree centigrade.

According to forecast for Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snow are likely to prevail in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla. While partly cloudy with chances of rain in evening and night are expected in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Anantnag zero degree centigrade, Jammu ten, Leh minus seven, Shopian and Baramulla minus one and Pulwama two degree centigrade.
