Pakistan Army, Anti-Narcotics Force and social welfare organization Da Haq Awaz are continuing their joint efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to treat drug addicts and rid the province of drugs. The ANF and Da Haq Awaz undertook an exercise to treat drug addicts on emergency basis after identifying them in Peshawar. In the three-month course, the drug addicts were taken through various training stages. Along with treatment, physical exercises and psychological counseling facilities were provided to the patients. After the completion of the treatment, a ceremony was organized in which the families of the patients along with the authorities of the departments concerned also participated. The patients and their families expressed pleasure on the completion of the treatment and thanked the Pakistan Army and ANF. Pakistan Army is taking concrete steps for complete elimination of drugs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with relevant departments.
