Hot, Dry Weather Persists Across Country with Isolated Rain Expected in Northern Regions

Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot conditions are forecasted for the southern regions during the next twelve hours. Light rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms may occur at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and surrounding areas. According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at seventeen degrees centigrade, Lahore twenty-five, Karachi twenty-eight, Peshawar twenty-one, Quetta and Muzaffarabad sixteen, Gilgit fourteen, and Murree at ten degrees centigrade. For the weather forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather is anticipated with chances of rain, windstorm, and thunderstorm during the evening and night in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Jammu is expected to see partly cloudy skies, while Leh may experience cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorm. The temperatures recor ded this morning were Srinagar twelve degrees centigrade, Jammu twenty-three, Leh two, Pulwama twenty-two, Anantnag and Shopian twenty-one, and Baramula twenty degrees centigrade.
