Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, certain regions may experience some respite as rain, wind, and thundershowers are predicted for Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan. According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-five degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-nine, Peshawar at twenty-eight, Quetta at twenty-four, Gilgit at twenty-one, Murree at seventeen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thundershowers in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. This morning, temperatures recorded in these areas were eighteen degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula, twenty-seven in Jammu, seven in Leh, and seven teen in Shopian.
