Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, some regions will experience relief in the form of rain-windstorms and thundershowers, primarily in Upper and Central Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir. According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities showed Islamabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-seven, Peshawar at twenty-five, Quetta at eighteen, Gilgit at seventeen, Murree at sixteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-one degrees centigrade. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thundershower in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Leh is expected to experience partly cloudy and dry weather. The temperatures recorded in these regions this morning were seventeen degrees centigrade in Srinagar and Anantnag, twenty-five i n Jammu, fourteen in Leh, and eighteen in Pulwama and Baramula, with Shopian at nineteen degrees centigrade.
