Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique says government is striving to strengthen air transportation system to achieve economic growth.

Talking to Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in Islamabad on Friday, he said a developed air transport system is vital for economic development.

Both sides discussed avenues to improve cooperation and partnership in the area of aviation.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki also called on Minister for Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Besides, bilateral relations both sides discussed measures to enhance ties between in the field of aviation.
