The government has announced to reduce prisoners' sentences all over the country by 90 days on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

According to a press release issued by the Interior Ministry in Islamabad today [Saturday], a special remission of 90 days has been granted to prisoners convicted for life except those convicted for murder, anti-state activities, sectarianism and acts of terrorism. The Interior Ministry immediately issued instructions to implement the policy.
