Govt accords top priority to restoring trust of international powers: Kundi

The Political Officer of US Embassy Islamabad, Teresa Chang called on Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Various domestic political issues, human rights, and labour were come under discussion.

The SAPM thanked the US diplomat for the support, the US government provides to Pakistan in different sectors.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that the top priority of the present government is to restore the trust of the international and regional powers.

Meanwhile, addressing a press conference along with Qamar Zaman Kaira, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Faisal Karim Kundi said chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is exploiting the killing incident of senior anchor Arshad Sharif for his political gains.

He said Pakistan has gained several achievements on diplomatic fronts under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
