Islamabad: Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan Dr Jemal Beker Abdula met with Chairman Higher Education Commission, Dr Mukhtar Ahmed in Islamabad on Friday. They discussed various avenues for bilateral cooperation in the higher education sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador expressed Ethiopia’s interest in leveraging Pakistan’s experience and knowledge in higher education to aid its human resource development. Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed assured the Ambassador of the Higher Education Commission’s full support. He emphasized facilitating institutional linkages and providing opportunities for Ethiopian students to pursue higher education in Pakistan’s public sector universities.
