Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has asked PTI Chairman Imran Khan to review his approach and shun his duplicity in connection with upholding rule of law.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said 'Save Judiciary Movement' of PTI Chief is aimed at hoodwinking the masses' attention from his corruption cases. He said Imran Khan should first pay a glance on his past before launching any such movement.
Azam Nazeer Tarar said Imran Khan ridiculed, and hurled allegations on judiciary through his statements and actions when he was removed under a constitutional and legal procedure in the parliament.
He said the PTI Chairman defied the judicial proceedings and even he is still escaping from facing the cases against him in the courts. He said such kind of attitude towards judiciary is not appreciable.
Talking about International Women's Day, the Minister said the government's policies are women friendly and all the institutions working for the rights of women in the country are functional.
