Election Commission of Pakistan has written a letter to Ministry of Interior to deploy Quick Response Force during the by-election being held in twenty constituencies of Punjab on Sunday.

The Commission has asked the Ministry to ensure deployment of Quick Response Force outside the polling stations in four constituencies of Lahore and one in Multan particularly.

Similarly, security forces have been asked to remain alert in all other constituencies to avert any untoward incident.
