Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has held a telephone conversation with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest regional developments.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders underscored the need for de-escalation and dialogue. They also agreed to stay closely engaged as the situation evolves.
