Defence Minister Khawaja Muhamamd Asif says the government is determined to protect all the state institutions, including the parliament.

Addressing a ceremony in Sialkot today (Sunday), he said the government believes in rule of law and constitution of the country and respects all state institutions in letter and spirit.

Khawaja Asif said the next general elections will be held next year in a transparent manner.
