Death Anniversary of Urdu Writer Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj Observed

Lahore: The fifty-sixth death anniversary of Urdu writer Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj was observed on Sunday. Imtiaz Ali Taj, known for his significant contributions to Urdu literature, was born in Lahore on October 13, 1900, and was an influential figure in the literary community.

According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj hosted the daily feature "Pakistan Hamara Hai" on Radio Pakistan, where he conducted radio programs for several years. His work extended beyond radio as he also wrote short stories, novels, radio plays, and film stories, leaving a lasting impact on Urdu literature.

Imtiaz Ali Taj's life came to a tragic end when he was murdered in Lahore in 1970. His contributions continue to be remembered and celebrated, highlighting his role in enriching Urdu literature through various forms of storytelling.
