Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has termed continuity of policies as imperative for the consistent progress of the country.

Addressing a seminar on Role of Space Technology for Sustainable Development of the Country in Islamabad on Monday, he stressed on the need to work for political and economic stability which plays a vital role in development of the country.

The Minister said in the past, eminent Muslim scientists were leading the development in science, but today we are far behind the world in this field.

Ahsan Iqbal said space technology has become important for all kinds of development of the country. He said it also plays role in fighting devastation caused by the climate change.
