Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched Pakistan's biggest Chief Minister Honahar Scholarship Program in Lahore today. Addressing the launching ceremony at Punjab University, she emphasized that scholarships are being awarded strictly on merit without any discrimination. According to Radio Pakistan, the program plans to distribute a total of thirty thousand scholarships, with a significant focus on female students who will receive eighteen thousand scholarships, accounting for sixty percent of the total. In addition to scholarships, the government will also provide laptops to outstanding students starting next month. Furthermore, ten thousand electric bikes have already been distributed to students, with an additional twenty thousand bikes in the pipeline, highlighting the government's commitment to facilitating student mobility and education.
