Azam directs federal administration to provide foolproof security for elections

A meeting chaired by caretaker Interior Minister Muhammad Azam Khan was held in Islamabad today.

It was attended by Secretary Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Inspector General Islamabad, and officials of district administration.

Chief Commissioner Islamabad Dr. Aftab Durrani gave a briefing to interior minister on election arrangements.

The meeting was informed that 356 polling stations will be for male and 345 polling stations for female voters, while 87 polling stations will be mixed.

IG Islamabad also gave a briefing on security arrangements pertaining to election.

The Interior Minister directed to provide foolproof security arrangements at all polling stations.
