Islamabad:Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq addressed the ongoing challenges faced by Pakistan due to terrorism in the region, particularly highlighting the situation in Afghanistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with the European Parliamentary delegation, led by Member of the European Parliament Mary Khan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that Afghanistan has become a hub of terrorism, impacting Pakistan significantly.

He pointed out that sophisticated weapons left by NATO forces in Afghanistan are now being used against Pakistani citizens and security forces, further exacerbating the terrorism problem.

The European Parliamentary delegation commended the Pakistani nation for its resilience and peace-loving nature, acknowledging Pakistan's efforts towards achieving regional peace and stability.
